Pattaya has one of the most concentrated nightlife scenes in Thailand, but the experience can be very different depending on which part of the city you visit.

Some areas are known for large clubs and late-night entertainment, while others are packed with smaller bars, open-air venues and places where visitors can spend an entire evening without walking more than a few hundred metres.

Walking Street

Walking Street is Pattaya's most famous nightlife destination. Located at the southern end of Beach Road, the street comes alive in the evening with bars, clubs, live music venues and entertainment businesses.

It is generally the place to go if you want the biggest and busiest version of Pattaya nightlife. The area becomes increasingly active later in the evening and continues well into the night.

Soi 6

Soi 6 is one of Pattaya's best-known bar streets and has a very different atmosphere from Walking Street.

The street is relatively compact and lined with bars on both sides, making it easy to walk around and explore several venues. Activity often starts earlier here than in some of Pattaya's late-night nightlife districts.

Soi Buakhao

Soi Buakhao has developed into one of the main nightlife corridors in Central Pattaya.

The road and surrounding streets contain a huge variety of bars, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues. It also connects visitors with several other major nightlife areas, including LK Metro and Tree Town.

LK Metro

LK Metro is a small nightlife district located just off Soi Buakhao.

Although the area is compact, it contains a high concentration of bars and entertainment venues. Everything is close together, which makes LK Metro particularly easy to explore on foot.

Tree Town

Tree Town is an open-air nightlife and entertainment area close to Soi Buakhao.

Visitors can find bars, music, food and late-night venues concentrated around one central area. Its location also makes it easy to combine a visit with Soi Buakhao and nearby streets.

Central Pattaya

Central Pattaya contains many smaller nightlife streets and individual venues outside the most famous entertainment districts.

The area is useful for visitors who want to explore beyond Walking Street while remaining close to the centre of the city.
